Education & work experience
Rodrigo Raposo is a young Portuguese composer born in São Miguel Azores, whose musical language has a melodic and emotive character.
His music was strongly influenced by studies with Christopher Bochmann and Pedro Amaral (2009-2012) who inspired him in the search of arguments to establish its own musical language.
The influence of these two composers is revealed primarily in sound imagination and in the almost scientific rigor that addresses his compositions.
His practice has covered different areas such as Cinema, Theatre and Video Games.
After completing a degree in composition, he enrolled in the Master of Cinema (2012-2014) having specialized in the field of Audio Post Production, a fact which, along with the taste he developed for painting and photography, deeply influenced his art in composition.
